Want to qualify my rating for this book
The copyright for this book is dated at 2008 which makes it very ancient for technological information. The reason I bought this book is because of the price, ($3.79). Being new to this topic, what I wanted to get from this book is basic info and not use it as a bible. Once I'm on track and running, I can get updated info online or get a more current book.

This is a good compressor
1 of 1 found this helpful I've bought a cheaper compressor from Harbor Freight Tools which worked but it was very noisy. It didn't have a tank so the air pressure to the airbrush was pulsating. This Paasche compressor is very quiet and has a tank.

Voltage or current power supply
I just received it not long ago so I haven't had a chance to use it that much but it's pretty good piece of equipment for the price. I don't have a lot of room on my lab bench so the compact size makes it easy to fit in with the rest of my test equipment. All of my projects are low powered so 5A is more than adequate.
