Oxford Diecast 1:43 JAGV12003 Jaguar V12 E Type Coupe Regency Red FAULT

Best yet
Oxford's Jaguar E Type V12 is far better than any preceding model of this car, though there haven't been many others. It's well up to Oxford's usual standard of accuracy/ value for money and fills a gap in Jaguar collections. Well worth the money. One fault only; this is the second example I've bought with a missing side mirror, same one (off-side) in each case.

Excellent model of an unusual subject at an extremely competitive price. Must for Rolls fans.

A good beginner's DSLR
This camera formed a good transition from Canaon's EOS film cameras, which I had been familiar with. The interchangeability of the lenses was a major factor in the purchase. It represents a major step up from the compact digital cameras I had tried (Fuji, Panasonic and Nikon). I learned that the quality of pixels is perhaps more important than the number in the specification. Though this camera has a lower pixel count than our Nikon compact, the picture quality on the Canon was significantly btter. The controls are well laid out and fall easily to the hand, even my wife's small hands. And it's not as big as some DSLRs, something my wife greatly appreciated. One can get impressive results even from the basic setting, which is very reassuring for beginners. I was impressed with the battery life, after seeing this as a weakness with the compact cameras I had tried. I was a little disappointed that the option of composing your shot via the rear screen is not available on this camera, but these screens are battery eaters, so you can't have it both ways. Especially with an anti-vibration lens, the camera performed very well in a variety of conditions, indoors and out, sunshine and shade. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to switch off the pop-up flash, which can be irritating at times. As these cameras are now discontinued, one is likely only to be able to purchase second-hand but this means that one can take a big step forward in digital photography at a very reasonable price. I can recommend the Canon EOS 350D to any keen amateur.
