Great motor
I bought this motor for my home milling machine to replace my single phase 240V 2 HP coned pulley system. I purchased a Weg CWF 10 phase converter/VFD from another source to control it. You can set parameter 142 and decrease the voltage output to meet this motor's 200 Volts. It is a bit of an odd ball voltage (old school from what I have read) but 2 HP is 2 HP. The motor was delivered as shown in the picture in new box with wood base. It was brand new and worked great. I now have infinite speed control from virtually zero to 3400 RPM. Check that your VFD can limit the voltage to the 200 V, motors can take about +-10%, so 220V may work but you are on the high end and power is not clean coming in, so you could burn it up. I have used BALDOR at work in very harsh environments and they deliver. This motor is much more quiet than the Grizzly import I took off. I figure this motor is about $500-$600 new, so great deal. I just bought another one for my Grizzly metal lathe, cannot wait to install it.
