A must-have for my spices cupboard.
I found it more cheaply at a Chinese supermarket, but that is too many miles away.
It makes a Chinese curry sauce, very much to my liking, in next to no time. Very good way to cheer up a bland dish - whether Chinese or not.

Suspect battery backup
A lovely bit of kit BUT if you have a power cut at night, the battery backup does not retain the alarm setting, so you can lose your wake-up!!
