Listed as a Jaguar X-Type 2.0 boot which requires no specialist tool to fit the hose clamp. Firstly this doesn’t even nearly fit my X-Type 2.0. Wide end was almost 1cm too large, secondly you really need a pair of hose clip pliers to fasten the hose clip. There’s really no substitute.
If by some chance it happens to fit your car, it would be pretty good value but given it makes two very specific claims, no. Utterly worthless.
BERGEN Universal Coil Spring Compressor 6209

Not quite as marvellous as it looks...
The two piece compressors made me nervous that they'd fly off if they slipped, so I liked the idea that they were joined and looked like it wrapped around the spring a bit better. Unfortunately it doesn't quite work out like that. The coil is obviously at an angle whilst the two sides are level with each other. This makes it very difficult to put on.
There's also the issue that the tensioning nuts can only be adjusted with a spanner rather than some models which have nuts you can adjust with a ratchet drive. Small things, but it takes a long time to compress a new spring...
However. It's still perfectly functional, and it does the job. Good thick strong metal. Very durable. Good quality. Just not as good a design as I'd first thought. In practice I found myself wishing I'd spent my money on one that was easier to use.
