I remember meeting Simple Minds at Nomis Studios, 81-82

Well for me, this album is really great. The drum sound on Waterfront is notably special. Jim's vocals are so powerful and confident. Charlie's guitar sounds amazing and is played with impeccable sensitivity. This album contains some lovely subtle synth embellishments too. A confirmation that Simple Minds were one of the best British Rock bands to emerge out of the Eighties. I will always remember meeting them with my friend Ray McVeigh at Nomis Studios, West London around 81-82. Highly Recommended.
