Very Dated!
I bought this primarily to see how much more of The Goon Show was available, having seen clips many times over the years and not knowing where they came from. Finally, and only recently, I found out that they came from "London Entertains" and so I just had to have the DVD, but to my disappointment there wasn’t much more than I had already seen.
You might be philosophical and say “Oh well, still have “Climb Up the Wall” and “Calling All Cars” to watch on the same DVD”, but oh dear they are dire! I always liked Jack Jackson (208 and the Beeb) who was a very clever and funny DJ (prior Kenny Everett) , but even he couldn’t save this in the Climb Up the Wall.
If you are a big fan of the mid/late 1950s in the UK, then go for it, but I doubt if I will ever watch any of the three films again.
