Inexpensive Repair
There are various guides for the repair on YouTube but common sense will get you through. I removed all the screws for the side guide rails leaving just one at the top and bottom. I then unwound the tension off the spring using a spanner, screw driver and allen key. You can then get to the cones without the fear of sudden rotation of any brackets as I had to ease mine off the woodwork. A small piece off wood under the door will keep the height correct. Once the cones are changed you can wind the tension back onto the spring.

Looks can be deceiving
When this first arrived I was disappointed as it looks like seed mix which has been put through a blender. I have been using Hopewell's standard mix for a few years and all three of my tables had piles of corn remaining after feeding sessions.
I now blend the two mixes together and my waste is virtually zero.
I have everything visiting the tables from Magpies, Jays through to Wood Pigeons, Collared Doves and smaller Blackbirds, Starlings, Chaffinches, Sparrows, Tits etc.
With one at £12.00 and this at £20.00 the average of the blend is £16.00 which is good value.
