Needs trimming for J frames.
Appears well made, but with storage rust on the metal clip fingers.
This is advertised as fitting I-frame revolvers & in case you're wondering this doesn't appear to perfectly fit my (J frame) S&W 640, 649 or Charter Arms Pathfinder. It seems to stick below the hand grip by a half an inch. I am keeping it as I have been eyeing some vintage I-frames at my local shop, or I could trim it to fit my existing J frames.

Limited use as a steel shot choke
A genuine Mossberg product in NOS packaging.
A bit disappointed by the fact that while the choke is steel compatible, it states only for size 4-6, so that rules this out for 2 shot which is probably the most common steel shot size for both duck & goose.
My initial pattern testing only shows a very marginal increase in pattern density over a mod choke. It's still a worthwhile choke especially if you are going to use it with lead as well.

Great chokes...for lead.
I whole heartedly recommend this 20 gauge choke set if you are only interested in using lead shot. The Imp Cyl choke is the only one rated for steel. I honestly didn't expect the X-Full to be steel compatible, but without the full choke steel rated makes the set somewhat marginal in utility.
