Holley getting cheap (or greedy)?
When rebuilding a carb, I usually like to replace any gasket or rubber materials. This kit does not contain the transfer tube grommets, vacuum secondary to body gasket, vacuum secondary diaphragm or choke to body gasket which had to be purchased separately. It also does not contained idle mixture screws, needle/seat lockscrew or adjusting nut or bowl site plugs (clear or brass) which I was able to reuse but are typically included in rebuild kits. It comes packaged in a box with a cellophane window that says once this seal is broken, it is not returnable, but you cannot effectively view all the parts without breaking the seal. Considering the cost, it is an authentic Holley kit and is specific to the truck avenger carburetor, I was disappointed in this purchase.
