The CPU had some thermal paste on it, as shown in the photographs. Thermal paste is a good thing :-)

Cheaper than the Dyson version and works just as well

I ordered this as a replacement for the Dyson one that came with my DC35. So far it's working great. It clicks into place perfectly and works as well as I remember the Dyson one working when I first got it.
