Didn't expect much from such a cheap unit, boy was I surprised!
Good tonal qualities with reasonable sound output. Just bought another one!

not quite so good an idea
1 of 2 found this helpful It's a Dell, so adding sound card, graphics boards etc is tricky as Dell use a special fitment so I've found. Upgrading becomes hard and expensive if you wish to, and you will want to, trust me. The on-board graphics are for a modern setting just about acceptable, but if you wish to run decent games, think again.
I use Win 7 ultimate on mine in my Office. It can slow down really quickly if you open more than four programs at once, so it is now purely for office use and it does that quite well. I have M-office and Open Office as well, and can run each at the same time. Adding the lightweight Gom player for some music slows things quite a lot though.
Also have Zorin loaded onto the main drive, and it runs that with far more speed and vigour than Windows. May delete Win7 soon, as Zorin does everything that 7 does, only rather etter, and all my programs work on Zorin so I don't lose out.
The speed is fast enough for general programs and it connects to the internet after only a few seconds of tinkering. So for me as an office machine it works well. Did originally buy it for my son to play his games on as the spec seemed quite decent but it is absolutely hopeless for that, hence I had to buy another, went for an Acer this time, far better all round.
As an office machine it just about works, but will be the last Dell I ever buy, just because upgrading is so much of an unnecessary pain.

Waste of money
Cant buy more tabs for it, the o especially they sell you, do not work. Bought 3 separate lots, and none if em work. so when you run ut of those supplied, u have to bin it.
