Good printer, shame about the set up!

Got the printer and set it up, used the downloads as specified but it wouldn’t work on my Apple Mac but NO problems with my iPad. So until I find a way round this problem I am using the iPad to print from. If there is something on the Mac I want downloaded, then I email it to myself and pick it up on my iPad and print it from there. Print quality is excellent. I have asked questions about the fact I am unable to print from the Mac but tried everything they have said. Meanwhile as I said, using my iPad.
