A gem of old school creativeness.
An outstanding classic well written with descriptive passages, heartfelt longing, and curious absurdities. Michael Campbell was a very good writer with a profound ability to engage his reader with characters drawn from a different and innocent erax with delightful shade of Waugh and wodehouse.
The only reason I have given this review four stars instead of five is the cost of the publication. There must be so many readers out there that would love to read a novel of such importance and of its classic capacity but cannot afford to do so, thirty years before Re publication was too long.hence i guess, the uniqueness of this tome.All in all a good but though and if you can pick up a second hand copy for under ten pounds it's money well worth spent.

Intriguing memory golden nugget
Absolutely marvellous they don't make them like this anymore, loved the itc shows growing up and this is certainly one of the better ones just watching Suzanne Danielle and Gayle Hunnicutt makes me come out in goose bumps never mind the horror aspect of it. Now if we could only have the murder mystery and suspense reissued at an affordable price i would be in seventh heaven.
