Best small machine with these teeth out there
I have been using some version of this machine with these teeth for 15 years, the original manufacturer praxis stopped selling them after contacting to sell them through Vermeer, then stopped selling them through them and now sells the machine through Toro.
One of the reviews says the machine was really hard on the pull start and that is true if the machine needs to be tuned up. If you have it tuned up about every 50-100 hours or when you start to get kick back that wants to pull your arm off, have it tuned up then.
With good sharp treeth this style quad 12 tooth 13hrp version Grinder will do a 6x6 stump in 2-4 hours depending on hieght etc. We do 1-2 foot stumps in 15-20 mins or less most of the time with newer or refurbished sharp teeth.
