A good basic stirring hotplate for very reasonable price
Works quite well, but wish the magnetic stirrer were a bit stronger for larger volumes, thicker liquids

great little incubator for microbiological use
Holds temperatures very well, +/- 0.5 C. Tests for temperature statification show minimal gradients. Draws little power; I have three on same circuit. Vary good value esp if purchased used as I have. Brand New prices high for what you get.

PDA cover/case mixed blessing
The magnetic hasp releases readily; have to use a rubber band to keep it closed. The belt attachment is secure, but at same time difficult to remove for using the PDA. All in all a mixed bag, but it's about the only case out there for Tungsten family PDAs, and is certainly better than that metal case.
