GT88 Smartwatch

You should be aware from the price that this watch is not a 'proper'Android Wear type smart watch. The software that is on the watch and the watch faces are fixed, you can't update or change them. This type of smartwatch links to your phone as if it is the bluetooth connection in your car - it transfers call info, call audio, messages and notifications. As such it doesn't play nicely with your car bluetooth. The watch takes a little setting up, and is fairly intuitive; the manual in poor and does not cover everything. The manual does not appear to be available online either. It takes a while to get everything set up properly and takes a day or two to settle down; there are some settings that I couldn't find (such as not sending call audio to the watch), but it appears to have settled down to that method of operation. Bluetooth connection is generally robust, but does drop from time to time, needing a re-connecton from the app on the phone. Great for the money, the camera is more of novelty value though.

Does the job at a sensible price

Took a few days to arrive, but it worked and I'm happy.

Cheap, works well, easy set up

For the price, this amplifier is not at all bad. It comes with no instructions, but it's not too complex to set up. It came with an acrylic case that you have to build yourself, but it's a nice touch. There's also a small heatsink included with a self adhesive pad on it, but no indication of where to stick it. A Google image search won't help either, as all the images appear to be the same five (which don't have the heat-sink in place). I stuck it on the chip with the metal square on the top, as that looked like it was for connecting to a heat sink. I paired it with the bluetooth on my laptop; which it paired with immediately without a passcode. There is no delay over bluetooth, so lipsync is not a problem. The amp itself has a little background hiss, but this isn't an issue in all but the quietest passages. I used a 12V 4A power supply that I had lying around, but I think I will try a lower current unit as it doesn't get warm. How long it will last, I don't know, but the few hours I've been using it, I'm impressed.
