Unrealiable
1 of 1 found this helpful The SWR12 promises much but delivers very little. the reason I decided to use this product was because of the heart rate monitor.
It does work in normal mode and monitors your heart rate at lengthy intervals , but on occasions when you are exercising or going for a walk and you turn on the heart activity monitor mode it becomes completely unreliable.
It is guaranteed to give an error message "heart rate not detected" i have had it fitted tight , and two fingers away from my wrist but the result is consistently the same , in heart rate monitor mode it always fails after a short while to detect my heart rate.
The only way you can get it to detect once it fails is to restart it but when you do that it givea spiked heart rate reading of about 168 bpm , I have put on the HRM while typing this and its giving me a heart rate reading of 174 bpm .
It's a joke ! Sony should be ashamed of this product!!
