Far better than Basketball 1
Mattel Basketball 2 is far better than Mattel Basketball 1 because it has much more variances. You start the play choosing one of three options (blue buttons). Then you have two players and the abiilty to pass the ball. Why they didn't have a remake of the second model is a mystery. When they first came out they were expensive, like the price of two Atari or Intellivision video games. And out of all the Mattel electronic LED games the basketball layout makes the most sense to be "realistic" and entertaining.

Better than original part
1 of 1 found this helpful I replaced the BTA12 using Arctic MX-4 Thermal Compound. I mounted using a nut and bolt and Loctite. Saved my special 1200w mini vacuum cleaner. It's a common motor on the internet.

Great frameless design
Highly adjustable nose pad positioning
