Replacement Belle drum for my old minimix 140
1 of 1 found this helpful The old drum was 25 years old and spun off easily. The new drum screwed on effortlessly. The paint quality is a bit poor and flaking off already after 1 mix. The drum is made up of two halves and welded on the outside. The inside flange or join is just left open and not welded . This is were the paint has failed and the drum will be gin to rot. If I get another 25 years I will be satisfied or dead.

An excellent and informative book about N gauge for a beginner
I knew a little about N gauge and wanted to update myself and learn more. I think the book is excellent value and well written and very informative. I am enjoying the history of N gauge couplings - who would have thought it!
I have already started searching for more detailed books on certain aspects of the hobby. But in fairness, I know you could build a competent layout from the information contained and using the extra references that are littered throughout the book.
