Perfect fit for a Quadzilla 150cc buggy but a quarter of the price.

Very good clamps for the money
I used these clips to make some jump leads up from an ancient pair of lorry jump leads I found on a roundabout, completely flattened by traffic.
Whilst I don't own an artic to give them a good try I have used them on some mid sized diesels and you can just 'clip and crank' and I have no doubt that they would easily start something much larger.
If I were being super picky, I would say that the clip on covers can be knocked off if you're clumsy with them, they clip back on easily and the 'problem' could be sorted by using plastic nuts and bolts, but when you consider the price for these clamps this really is a non-issue.
Would I buy them again? 100% yes, I just need to scour roundabouts for more lorry grade cable to really do the clamps justice.

Nicely made and a powerful machine
1 of 1 found this helpful Although I bought my particular machine as spares/repairs I can honestly say it is a nicely made machine.
The engine is an industrial specification Briggs and Stratton 16hp twin, the industrial specification means it has cast iron cylinders which will outlast a consumer grade engine by quite some margin.
The engine itself is extremely torquey and as it is coupled to a hydrostatic transmission this means you can make good progress when cutting grass even with the engine running a low speed, this helps with fuel consumption and noise.
The manual for the machine is available online, spare parts availability seems very good (it is actually made by Murray and rebadged as Hayter)
Everything on the machine seems to make logical sense and it is a pleasure to use, the only issue I have found to be not very good is the choke cable/lever arrangement, the handle and actuating rod are made from plastic, which bends easily and makes it difficult to turn the choke off when first started, I remedied mine by replacing the existing choke cable with a pattern MGB choke cable and a clevis pin from a radio controlled aircraft, it now works beautifully.
