My son loves this game
2 of 2 found this helpful My 11-year old has been wanting this game for a long time, but it's hard to find as a whole package. Once we finally got it from eBay for him for his birthday, he has not been disappointed!
He should probably be writing this review instead of me. Maybe I'll have him edit it some other time, but he's at school at the moment! One thing I'll mention: make sure you are aware that if you get this to play on the Wii that you need a GC memory card as well as a GC controller. I had forgotten that and it ended up costing more than the purchase of the game to get the necessary peripherals!

Works perfectly
2 of 2 found this helpful I have this same one at work and I really liked it, but I was too cheap to buy it new. This one from eBay works perfectly! My external monitor (VGA), TV (using the DisplayPort), keyboard, and mouse all work great, and they come alive instantly whenever I dock.
One thing I noticed is that when the external power is not plugged into the docking station (and the laptop is docked) the docking station does not function. This is important because I wanted to do a presentation and I didn't have a mini DisplayPort-to-HDMI (mini DisplayPort is the port on my laptop) cable, but I had a DisplayPort-to-HDMI (the port on the docking station) cable. I couldn't figure out why the image wasn't displaying on the TV. Then I finally plugged the docking station into the wall and it came up. In retrospect, perhaps this should have been obvious since the docking station cannot enable its ports unless it has direct power--it doesn't work off the laptop's battery.
