Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300
11 of 11 found this helpful Well... You can take it out of the box, put in a memory card, and take a high quality picture.
The many many features take a moment to digest.
I love the programmable function keys on the mini-touchscreen.
Cons -
1) there's a goofy lens cover that comes with it. It causes a shadow when using the flash.
2) the naming system. I take a lot of pictures and keep most everything. The naming system the camera uses "trips" every 1,000 pictures. I can't put everything into one directory. I much prefer the date/time naming system... but who cares what I think.
3) The interface between the camera and phone doesn't have an option to remove the image from the camera when transferring.
Pros-
1) It's a pretty awesome camera. A clear high quality image in dust/splash protective case straight out of the box. (not waterproof)
2) It has a Wi-Fi remote control system that ties into a cellphone using Panasonic's App. WOW!
3) Macro-Zoom and Telephoto Zoom on a 25mm-600mm lens with a 4x digital zoom. It doesn't give the greatest pictures at the highest, but shrink the image a bit, and it turns out nicely.
4) It has a dust/splash protective case. It's not waterproof. If water hits it at the right spot, it's just as bad. However, they say the case is splash and dust resistant. We'll see.
I could be happier with it... mostly about the Naming System. I recommend the camera as one that I'm hoping not to have any issues with during the life of the camera.

D-Link DAP-1620 AC 1200Mbps Wi-Fi Range Extender
It's a little goofy.
It only connects on one side... 5 or 2.4... not both.
The extender side will broadcast on 5 and 2.4 simultaneously.
I can hit... 180Mbps (20mb/second) and 340 upload... with a Gigabit wired
connection to the extender.
The interface... is very useful for a beginner.
... I, knowing what I wanted, was a little frustrated.
Sincerely... TheGrue Slayer.

A very nice point and click camera...
3 of 3 found this helpful I like it.
I was looking for a point and click easy to shoot camera that took excellent pictures. I found it.
The camera itself has a standard weight and feel. The mechanisms and the menus are self explanatory.
It takes high quality pictures in bright light but I, so far, have had trouble taking pictures in low light situations.
At the highest setting, a 16g memory card will hold over 2500 pictures.
I'd buy it again and am very pleased with it.
On a lighter note... the zoom controls should be reversed.
