Heavy Duty Latching Foot Switch

Extremely well built
I bought 2 of these items to change channels and control reverb on an orange amp. This is a very sturdy unit, but I was disappointed to find that the 1.75m cable is fixed to the unit and was closer to 1.5m. by the time it had gone behind the amp to be plugged in, I had less than 1m left for clearance, and this is with the amp at ground level. I was hoping for something with an input jack as the pictures don't show the cable attached. Instead of returning the unit, I opened up the unit and pulled out the cable. It's sealed tight, but was easy to remove the sealant and get it out. I then soldered in an input jack. It took around 20 minutes and now the unit is much more usable. (Before & after pics below).

Perfect for Helix effects
The unit seems great and the bag is a great size. I wanted to house a helix effects, a couple of latch stomps and an expression pedal. It's perfect. I staggered my helix slightly so the rubber feet are over the edge, and the velcro is behind the feet and able to make a good connection. Even with the helix hanging over by 1.5cm, and the fact the helix is very tall, the bag holds everything well. My only complaint is that you only get enough velcro to cover the 2 thick bars. If I had a few smaller pedals to use, the skinny bar would be unusable.
