Works very well
It does require a special driver on linux (rtl8812 - I used this version from github Grawp/rtl8812au_rtl8821au). It's easy enough to compile and install and then all works really quite well.

Good but expensive
The wifi reaches parts of the house that pervious arrangement using 2 APs didn't. Quite impressive. It's easy to configure but this is a US model and cannot be changed to worldwide. For those not in US this means you have to choose channels and channel bandwidth carefully especially on 5G.
There's a lot of capability that is not needed in a SOHO environment and the online support is only fair. Ruckus obviously expects to be dealing with corporates who can afford their support contracts.
However for me it works well.

Good
Uses rtl8821cu driver - the Linux driver supplied doesn't compile but there is a modified version on Github which works.
