Fabulous. Just fabulous.
A word of warning: fude brushes have preparation instructions. If you don't follow those, you're going to have a bad time. I get so sad when I see reviews for things like this that are written by people who clearly didn't know about the preparation, and therefore get bad results. So if you're reading this: Remember to wash the glue out when you get it, under lukewarm water, wet it while squeezing the ferrule. I like to swish it around in The Master's brush cleaner, too. EVERY TIME, before you use it for normal painting or calligraphy, get the brush VERY WET and let it sit for a good five minutes. This will relax the hairs and prevent breakage and help it keep it's shape. Remember to only swirl the front half in the ink/pigment/watercolour/whatever.
That said, this brush is freaking fantastic. I love how flexible and absorbent the bristles are. You can make very fine lines with it, but it really shines as a wash brush--assuming you're weird like me and use it for large watercolour areas. I love Kuretake's brushes, and this one is great too. It has a good weight to it, the handle is medium length, and it's comfortable to hold for long periods of time.

Mmmm. That's some fine drawing.
These are great for fine detail rendering. They're comfortable to hold, and the erasers are super clean. The lead hardness indicators are super convenient.

Great for sketch and concept.
These are smooth quality paints. The half pans are numbered, and the colours are pretty nice. Bear in mind that these are not the highest artist grade pigments. They're good quality, but they do not stand toe to toe with Holbein or PWC. I recommend these for sketches, students, concepts, and on the go.
The waterbrush included is as good as any other, and the bristles return to the point when wet very well. The blue pigments are impressively staining, so do expect some staining on the bristles. Using the sponge to dry the brush helps with pickup and cleaning between washes.
All in all, it's a good product for what it is. It serves its purpose.
