Bought a mac 6 years ago and never looked back.

The beauty of Mac products is that you can buy them 2 years later at half the cost, and then still own a computer that's faster and more powerful than most brand new PC laptops with the same/similar price.

Sense-U Baby Monitor: Breathing Movement, Ambient Temperature, Rollover(Ambient)

Useful, but minimal. Worth the second hand price I paid but not brand new.

Bought this to monitor the baby's breathing as it's difficult to see on our basic visual monitor that doesn't track breathing. For this reason I haven't had a need to use the rollover alerts but they are accurate from observing the sense-u breathing monitor still attached. Pros - Easy to use, light and non-introsive, you can turn the device off via the bluetooth without having to undress or wake the baby. The accompaniying app stays on too so you don't need to keep locking your screen. Cons - ambient temperature differs wildly from the room's temperature and the baby's actual temperture. So not 100% sure if the breathing rate is accurate either although I have peace of mind knowing it's within the expected range. App is a bit too minimalist. With only three bits of information in real time only. It would be nice to have some sort of chart so I can see how the babies breathing varies throughout the night and different days, I like to track sleep development. This would be especially useful when the baby is not feeling well or conditions change. Lastly, my second hand item had a broken seal which I noticed when opening to change the battery. The plastic felt a bit brittle, not a major problem for functionality but raises questions about safety?
