By far this is one of the funest camera I have ever owned. The features out weigh the cost of this camera. The unit is small yet has practical features that are useful when taking it on travel or for work. In addition I need to mention for those who have a problem holding the camera steady, this one is for you, just point and shoot with the clearest photos I have seen for a small camera. Why pay double for the new Sony. This one has the image stablizer built in as well. I have several expensive Digital SLR cameras and I must say that I found my self using this one more because of its easy operation, size & picture quality. For the money, you can not go wrong with this one!

The 70-300mm Sigma Review

I liked the fast focus, and clear optics. Macro mode is excellent for detailed close up work. The only thing I was slightly annoyed by was the auto focus. I'm use to the Canon Ultrasonic Lenses and how quiet they are. If you plan on using this for a covert operation, this is not the lens for you. Over all, for the price, a great lens for one who is just starting out.
