About
I own and operate PhonoNuts, a full service turntable shop in Acworth, GA, inside Al Bum s Record Shoppe. I refurbish and offer for adoption turntables with a 90 day warranty. I do not sell on eBay, just buy stuff. Lots of stuff.

Good enough for shop headphones
1 of 1 found this helpful These are the headphones I use in the shop when listening for distortion or mistracking on a turntable I have just fixed. They are rugged, and comfortable enough to use all day. The sound quality is not great, but is good enough to do what I need to do.

It's a darn good 'scope
1 of 1 found this helpful The Tek 2246A is easy to use and packed with features. There are a few of these floating around that are still NIB. The USAF bought them in the late 80s and stored them, very well I might add. There are two versions, one with a silver oxide battery that will eventually burst and leak, and one with a lithium battery that will not.
If you need a 4 channel analog scope, get one of these. If you can find a NIB example, with all the accessories from Tek, definetly buy it.

Great belt drive turntable
2 of 2 found this helpful These Technics belt drive tables are hard to beat. They have a removable headshell and a medium-low mass arm which works with a wide range of cartridges. Most problems are easily fixable. Most parts are widely available. I buy and sell the heck out of them.
