Hornby 110 DMU
Very happy with this, it's a good runner and it was made at a time when Hornby were finally making nicely detailed models in the UK, before it all went Chinese. Still a popular model and the extra centre coaches are not hard to find either.

Avoid
A confusing, jumbled mess of a book. Flitting from one subject to the next and back again with no discernable narrative, it concerns itself more with overblown power supply designs than practical amplifiers. A good analysis of the Quad circuit though. Strangely, the companion book, 'Building Valve Amplifiers', is excellent.....

Bahco snips cheap as chips
These were definitely worth the money however I'm sure I'm not the only one who's noticed that Bahco stuff has taken a major nose-dive. None of it is made in Sweden any more, the fit and finish on these was very "Chinese" I had to pein the rivet and the fettling of the finished flat surfaces looked like a child did it.
