Realistic feedback simulator
The Freqout pedal is easy to use and does a good job of creating a pretty realistic feedback simulation. The choice of harmonics is handy as is the ability to switch between latching and momentary feedback. So far the only negative seems to be that on occasions the note will die quite suddenly once the signal from the guitar drops below a certain point, so the pedal doesn’t always provide an endless note. They recommend placing the pedal at the front of the signal chain but I haven’t yet tried putting it after the compressor- perhaps this might provide a stronger, more even signal for the Freqout to hang onto?

Great quality in a small package
These speakers are perfect if space is tight and you need speakers of a good quality which can sit in the desk. Compared to my larger Tannoys these perform better in the confined space of my studio. They seem very forgiving of the less than ideal room shape. Admittedly there isn’t an extended bass response- they are very small speakers, but I find it very easy to make natural sounding mixes using them.
