Gorgeous yet inconsistent
'Empros' probably isn't Russian Circles' strongest effort, but the album demonstrates their range and talent fantastically - especially on the first side of the record. After being pulled into the deep end with the opening track 309, we're led into the centrepiece of the album, Mlàdek, a roaring montage of the style that gave the band prominence, whilst building on the layered sounds developed in the previous album, Geneva. Atakla is another standout track, a song that grows until it has no other option to burst. Later albums build on flowing nature of Empros, but this is where it starts.

Cheap quality
Stitching is poor to the point you are to unzip the main compartment without snagging threads. Isn’t marked as genuine or authentic leather either and I highly doubt it is. I
