Great for screening - but maybe too perfect to be realistic
1 of 1 found this helpful We bought this item to use as a screen between our rear garden and the neighbours to cover the gap where a section of the original laurel hedging was missing. It is of good quality and has been up for a couple of months with no problems. It is sturdy and looks good although it may be just a bit to perfect to be realistic.
The leaves are fairly sparse on the trellis so we had to purchase additional false leaves to wind around the trellis to achieve the screening we needed.
All in all we are happy with our purchase and would recommend it.

Sonos Play 1. All I think I'll ever need?
Whilst away on a short holiday late in 2016 I visited a drinking establishment who had one of these speakers outside in the garden area. I could hear a really good quality sound but couldn'e detect where it was coming from. The base was very well defined without being boomy or boxy and the mids and treble were balanced and not at all shrill. The overall sound was very impressive. I am a music engineer and was amazed to find that the sounbd was coming from a small black speaker sat on a table near the door to the garden and also amazed that it was mono.
I made a note of the speaker name SONOS Play 1.
As soon as we got back home I bought two of these speakers and have since bought a third to use as a 'portable' speaker from room to room and for the summer in the garden.
If there are better small speakers out there I haven't heard them. If you happen to find something that sounds this good for the size of the speaker you'll be wise to snap it up as these are amazing. The extra travel of the speaker cone is what delivers the massive and well rounded bass end. They are wonderful items and I wouldn't be without them now.
I don't think they are 'cheap' at around £170 per speaker but as you don't need a separate amp and don't have to put up with speaker wires trailing all over the place, they are a mini marvel of compact quality sound.
