Class 55 Deltics from the final years to preservation
Colin & Ian have compiled a fantastic book which capture those final deltic years up to withdrawal in 1982 with excellent pictures and narrative. There are a good selection of post withdrawal pictures at Doncaster works including the Open Day in February 1982 The preservation era takes you from the North York Moors in 1983 all the way through to the deltic hauled railtours to Aberdeen & Kingswear in 2014-2015. A must for all deltic fans great quality, value and the north east bias adds a freshness which i am enjoying.
