Caught a rat in only three days
So happy with it, ordered another one. Thought it would have been bigger...but it doesn’t need to be. Be sure to lock trap door in place if you move it with a live rat in it. I pushed a stick though the round counter weight. Decent quality.

Perfect parts
Everything needed was included and good quality. At first I thought one of the two copper bolts had not had the shoulder machined…but one is a force fit and the other isn’t. Was able to do repair in place without removing the starter. I could not replace one of the contacts this way but photographing the inside with my phone I was able to see they had way less wear than the plunger or the ‘easy’ to replace contacts. So…I left that side alone. The old plunger and old contacts were way more eaten away than half the original thickness. It may have just been by chance that the other harder to replace contact side was not that worn. So removing the starter may be the way to go. Don’t forget to disconnect the battery first.
