Great Starter Camera
I bought this as a first "serious" camera and have been using it weekly since purchasing. The only problem I had was that the battery that it came with was terrible, so I've had to buy a couple from a third party. It's been going much better since doing that, I can actually use the LCD screen to take photos and take advantage of the camera's autofocus instead of doing everything manually.
This camera still holds up somewhat well in 2021, but you can't expect any fantastic results. Crispness of photos will depend on your skill level (I have a lot to learn here!). It's well worth your time watching at least a few videos on how to get the most out of the camera before you start using it. Photos I took in my first week were absolutely terrible, but I'm slowly improving.
I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who already takes a lot of photos, as the more recent models are so much better, but it's perfect as a first-camera, for someone looking to expand their creative skill-set without re-mortgaging their home.
Remember, always do your research before buying a camera, make sure you understand the limitations before purchasing. YouTube is a great resource, so use it!
