Original, Intelligent, Well Written, and Highly Entertaining Conglomeration of Diverse Genres
An original, intelligent, well written action thriller. A lot of what you have come to expect from an Arnie action movie, with some Rosemary’s Baby thrown in, a little bit of The Exorcist as well, and a pinch of Lovecraftian horror. It is highly recommended for everyone who likes action and religious-based movies. I wish I would have discovered this movie over 20 years ago ... Hollywood should make more movies like this one.
Considering the genre, the characters and situations are believable and well fleshed out … the acting was really pretty good … the plot required you to think, instead of just being spoon fed … and it even has a somewhat mild surprise ending. Not sure why some of the critics and other reviewers were so harsh … the movie is highly enjoyable and quite entertaining.

best adaption of Brams Stoker's Dracula, EVER
superb acting, and the screenplay was a true adaption of Bram Stoker's book. Louis Jourdan nails it with his interpretation of Dracula ... and Frank Finley is perfect choice for Van Helsing.
AND, there is none of that modern teenager Twilight Saga BS or Anne-Rice-esque nonsense about vampires. Vampires are depicted as for what they are ... evil, blood-thirsty soul stealing demons.
