Poor quality

Bought 2 of these. One works but the other broke. I inserted a USB memory stick and it bent one of the pins inside of this cable! It also pulls out of the socket. Extremely poorly made. Would not recommend!

A little misleading

eBay listing is a little misleading. Only the HDMI port works on my 2012 Macbook. I have a Dell DisplayPort - VGA which works fine on the Mac.

BEWARE - uses carrier branded firmware

Whilst I am pretty happy with this purchase, this particular device comes with carrier (TIM/Telecom Italia) firmware. Meaning software updates come via them rather than direct from LG. While there's maybe nothing to worry about as the device is unlocked (you can use any UK SIM with it) this was not mentioned when purchasing it. Updates from carriers are usually slower to arrive (or not at all!). I'm a little scepticle features such as WiFi calling (supposedly supported by this device) may not work as it is using carrier firmware (I am currently with EE who support WiFi calling but there is no WiFi calling option visible). In theory you should be able to flash pure stock firmware, but I've not had the confidence to try that with the phone yet... Overall I'm pretty happy with this purchase. The price I paid is a bargain for a flagship phone when compared to the cost from a UK retailer.
