E-Flite UMX F4F Wildcat

I have been waiting for this plane for a long time. There are tons of P51's and Corsaires in the hobby but the Wildcat is often over looked. As soon as I saw the release information for the Wildcat I planed on getting it. Just like all the UMX planes with brushless motors this thing is rock solid in the air with plenty of power. Make sure you get the COG right and you should not have any issues. I have only flown it without the landing gear (personal preference) and it is a great scale flying model. Love it.

GoolRC 3650 Brushless Motor Combo

Usually I buy name brand / trusted motor and ESC's but I decided to give this one a try and I am glad I did. I put this in a Traxxas 2WD and it absolutely screams. Aside from the fan being a little loud (but at least you know it is on) I cannot see a difference between this setup VS one that cost three or four times as much. The only gripe I have with it was the motor shaft is a little bit shorter than I would have liked (maybe an 1/8" too short) and I could just barely get the pinion gear on there.
