Cheap and adequate
There's no doubt these speakers are right at the cheapo budget end of the spectrum but they do the job and are cracking value for at under £20. They might "peak" at 300W but if you really want to shove more than about 20W through them, these aren't the speakers you're looking for. They're not particularly dynamic, and lack any bass, what do you want for the price? I'm happy with them, and they're actually better than I expected, and filled the round hole left by the knackered old speakers I had.

Five years of use, still going strong
Bought new for less than £20 delivered, they appear to be copies of Halfords' own brand, perhaps they're made by the same folks that Halfords use for theirs, I don't know. Certainly cheaper than Halfords or any of the big brands. The rail clamps fit directly on to my old Paddy Hopkirk roof rack, and the item name seems to fit the Hopkirk 40X number range. I bought these bargain bucket roof rails five years ago, and they've seen sterling service on my old Freelander, carrying what must amount to tonnes of wood, and even heavy scaffolding. I've routinely exceeded the maximum loading of them with no ill effects to the roof bars (though the car's handling got a bit wayward occasionally!!) and for super cheapo bars they've been magnificent!
