Awkward situation, difficult to analyze
This part apparently failed on me quite some time ago, causing me to think batteries were worn out/non-functional because of erratic contact. Hard to find. This is the "right" one, but not cheap, and there pretty much is NO expedient.

I read this when I was a kid, and had been looking for a copy for my kid and her husband and my grandchildren. Difficult to find at a rational price, this was a good copy. The book is a great adventure and human interest story, and also a compelling geography and history exercise. They probably will never read it, finding it "old man stuff" and "war gore", but I at least wanted to offer the opportunity to sample something I enjoyed half a century ago.
