Excellent film

A highly enjoyable work which takes only a little while to get into. The performances are engaging (with a smattering of dark humour throughout) and everything else about this Oscar winner is worthy of your time.

Wonderful film finely acted, although essentially a filmed play. Historical accuracy takes a back seat to scenery chewing and melodrama from the fantastic o'Toole and Hepburn, with an amazing supporting cast.

Return to my youth

I wanted to introduce my 9 year old to a film released late in my own childhood. Kid-friendly humour and excellent performances throughout (even a cameo by the late, great John Candy). This should be compulsory viewing for all children - and, surely, it is!
