Great Audiophile Starter Headphones
The HD 580 is a great headphone. The sound quality is extremely good and they are very comfortable to wear. They were Sennheiser's top of the line dynamic headphone when they were introduced in around 1994. They have been discontinued and superseded by the HD 600's, and then by the HD 650's. I own each of these versions, with each version an improvement over the earlier model. Each of the headphones in this line sound better if they are driven by a dedicated headphone amp and if you get an aftermarket cable. That said, the HD 580's still sound better than 90% of headphones when driven by an iPhone using the standard cable.
Since I currently own all three headphones in this series, I have to correct the fallacy that "these are basically the HD 600's with a grey grill". The construction is very similar, the size is identical, and they use the same headphone cords and ear pads. But the HD 600's have different transducers (which is the main thing that contributes to the sound) and a different grill (not just in color but different construction). And not to detract from the wonderful sound of the HD 580's, but the HD 600's also sound better.

Great tax preparation assistance

Really like the way it imports the prior year's return (as well as brokerage house information) to cut down on tedious and error-prone manual transfer of the information. A little more effort needed the past two years to navigate back and forth from the program automatically guiding you through the forms to manually selecting and entering on a form. But overall a great program for someone with investments.
