Post script
Not better than expected because I have previously bought these post shoes and found them to be effective and good value. That’s why I bought another one when needed.

As expected - does the job.
I have used plastic wood for many years so I have rated it as expected. It is reasonably easily squeezable into small holes in woodwork and smoothable with the aid of a spatula. It dries hard after a few hours and is readily sandable and paintable.

A bit flimsy
Not the most robust of litter pickers because of the articulated structure which makes it somewhat lacking in rigidity around the central joint. However, it does offer a little extra length by comparison with the average picker, has a good clamping action and is inexpensive.
