Audiolab 8300CDQ CD Player/DAC/Pre-Amp - Black

Couldn't have bought better for the money.

Superb sound quality from Audiolab's combination of a cd transport, high quality DAC, analogue/digital pre- & headphone amps. It's very well made & very versatile with both balanced & unbalanced preouts plus a USB b port for pc/laptop connectivity. Despite its high price, it is excellent value for money when all of the aforementioned is considered together with its wonderful sound quality.

Audiolab DC Block Direct Current Blocker Mains Conditioner Black or Silver

Excellent dc on the mains solution.

I was already aware of the effect of dc on the mains causing hi fi equipment transformers hum and vibration. The 2 Audiolab dc block units used to power both my pre & power amplifiers have effectively removed the hum and hiss with the result that more subtle detail can be heard from music played through them. Also, the sound quality has a new vibrancy and is more full bodied that wasn't heard before the dc block units installation. Overall this is a very worthwhile sound quality improvement which hifi/music loving enthusiasts should seriously consider buying to improve their hifi equipments sound quality.

Great value inner record sleeves

For the price they provide very good protection, from dust grit, for my vinyl records and as stated on their description, seem to prevent static build up. Recommended.
