It's More than just a "guide." It is a TOOL.
Bought this for my Bug Out bag after much review online/ YouTube for the best survival guide out there today. They weren't wrong with recommending this one. First off, the travel size is PERFECT. Not bulky at all, so it's easy and lightweight to carry around. Secondly, there is so much information provided, that I feel confident to say that I feel more comfortable with the fact that I could survive if it turns out to be longer than 72 hours.
I have not tested it yet "For any climate, in any situation," but I could say it at least prepares you with the most information possible.

A nice EDC
1 of 1 found this helpful My original and favorite knife is the SOG Flash 2 - so in comparison to that:
I don't love the handle of the Rat 2 - it's a little too slippery but still a good feel in hand
Blade is EXTREMELY sharp and the black coating is beautiful. For its purpose as an EDC, it arrived even sharper than the SOG, and I appreciate that.
It is not spring-assisted like the flash 2. That one just springs open with no effort.
This knife I actually have to guide almost all the way open or flick it with my wrist. It's not make it or break it for me, but it's still annoying.
All in all, I don't regret this purchase at all - Great knife for the price.

Just as I Expected
When people say it has Everything, they're not lying. This book has the most compacted amount of information I've ever seen!
The book itself measures 5 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 1" - Bought it for my BugOut Bag - fits perfectly.
My guess is it weighs under a pound. I now own this book as well as the SAS Survival Guide (Revised Edition).
I'm So Happy I purchased it. I love one comment on YouTube where the person said, if all the reference books in the world were destroyed, this is the book to have, and you could have it on you always. They're absolutely right.
