After reading various positive reviews, I guess I rightly or wrongly expected a more structured (rigid) bag. It is very soft and the buckles slip on the soft thin shoulder straps with the weight of gear and a net hanging off it. Yes, I could put some plastic cards inside for rigidity and tape up the shoulder strap buckles, but at nigh on 30 notes.....mmmmm
