The only scanner designed for simulcast systems
This is the only scanner that works properly with simulcast trunked systems. The database built into the free software make programming much easier than in the past. It also has a wider receive range than other scanners.
At the price of a professional portable two-way radio this is a substantial investment so if you don't need the advanced features there are other choices that are just as capable but lack the same ease of programming.
Like so many other products it has a host of accessories, upgrades and aftermarket software available to enhance its capabilities.
