One of the best guitar instruction books I ever bought and I bought a lot of them
Great musical examples in many styles with the theory behind the examples explained. Best part is the jazz blues musical examples on the CD and the explanations of the theory behind chord substitutions. Takes basic 12 bar blues progressions and explains the substitutions in each bar for the "songs". Also shows a wide variety of chord fingerings and adds new ones throughout the book. Really one of the best books ever for a blues or blues jazz rhythm guitar player.
