Worthy of Dump
1 of 2 found this helpful I wanted to like this book; I could not. Like a bad movie you pay good money to watch, yet feel compelled to leave before the end, I left Rick/Glow early on. I had to! And anyone with half a brain, and some self respect, would be compelled to do the same.
Why? I left his proudly penned pages of blow by blow (literally) descriptions of his debauchery and drug fueled excesses and eccentricities (which included beastilality) to the trash bin. Yes, I had to leave his self professed and absolutely sickening grandiosity before I needed a bath.
Reading through it produces a feeling of disgust and the stench of death-- much like climbing through a mound of dead bodies would. Yes, it's that bad! Along with it, his schizophrenic back and forth repentance and bragging of deviant and diabolical behaviors elicits the gag reflex.
If you are looking to like and to feel good about the man by reading his autobiography, don't bother. You won't! If anything,most will come out of it disheartened, disenchanted, and inclined to dump his book and his records.

Well Worth Reading!
Way to go, Gavin MacLeod! Talk about an inspiration! This autobio was a joy to read!! He goes into great detail about his life and his rise to fame. He also goes into great detail about his personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Obviously he is the real deal, and living it out in the Spirit here on earth. Awesome testimony! Awesome example! And I NEVER use that word! LOL!!!
